Teachers Training is Starting

It amazes me how fast time flies! I can't believe I'm already in Flagstaff doing my meditation teachers training program. It seems like just yesterday I was planning my Costa Rica Yoga Retreat (which took place back in March!) and now I'm sitting in the Residence Inn smackdab in the middle of Arizona with 10 other blokes learning about teaching Vedic Meditation.

I'm so excited. When I pulled up yesterday from LA, I was a little surprised by the weather, which was cold and drizzly. For some reason, I forget that other places (outside of LA) have seasons, and therefore are subject to regular rainfall and even snow. Apparently, it snowed here for about 5 minutes yesterday.

Everyone seems cool and ready to do what we're here to do. Actually, I got to know mostly everyone in India a couple of weeks ago. One other guy flew in from London the night before last. But I remembered meeting him through the meditation community about 2 years ago in West Hollywood.

We brought my friend Korrin in from LA to cater our nightly dinners. She's a most excellent vegetarian chef that I met in Erewhon about 4 years back when she was doing a cooking demonstration. So the stage is set for a fantastic summer of learning, growing and meditating.

I may not be able to get to the computer as much as I did in India but I'll do the best I can to keep you guys in the loop. I've got to get back to a meeting now. Catch ya later....
